Creating a safe, enjoyable and memorable pedestrian experience is paramount because walkability is a measure of how easy, safe, enjoyable and interesting it is to travel on foot. Having a walkable city is vital to a sustainable and an economically successful downtown.
WALKABILITY
Connectivity provides the ability to safely connect from one place to the next. It refers to the quanity and quality of connections, which bridges the gap between people & place.
CONNECTIVITY
Placemaking is the aesthetic that creates a vibrant, alluring and memorable sense of place; ultimately, creating a public outdoor living room.
